Moxies is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month. Congrats to Khloe and Nathaniel on their March achievements!
Khloe Jankowiak (third year, Business Administration – Accounting, Lethbridge, Alta.) delivered an outstanding month across two sports, playing a key role in the success of both the Kodiaks women’s futsal and indoor track teams. Jankowiak helped lead the futsal squad through the qualifying matches to secure a berth at the ACAC Championships. She then transitioned to the indoor track season, where she competed at the ACAC Championships and contributed valuable points in the distance events, placing third in the 3000m and fifth in the 1500m. Her performances were instrumental in helping the Kodiaks capture the program’s first-ever ACAC women’s indoor track championship banner. Returning to futsal for the ACAC Championships, Jankowiak scored a goal in a tightly contested bronze quarterfinal matchup, where the Kodiaks fell by just one goal, and was named an ACAC South All-Conference player. Her versatility, endurance, and competitive drive highlighted a remarkable stretch for the Lethbridge product.
Nathaniel Hosannah (second year, Business Administration, Tacoma, Wash.) delivered a standout postseason for the Kodiaks men’s basketball team, earning ACAC Second Team All-Conference honours before elevating his play at the ACAC Championships. At Championships, he was named a Tournament All-Star, leading all players in minutes while anchoring the Kodiaks defensively and contributing key scoring and rebounding. His efforts were highlighted by a statement upset over the host school, the No. 1 team in the conference and a nationally ranked opponent, securing a spot in the gold medal game and qualification for the CCAA Nationals. The team finished Championships as ACAC silver medalists. Hosannah carried that momentum to nationals, delivering consistent two-way performances against top teams in the country, making key plays in crucial moments, and helping the Kodiaks remain competitive throughout the tournament, earning CCAA Second Team All-Tournament honours.
